Has anyone ever seen Josefina's Piano on e-bay? How much does it usually go for (if you can find it)? Just wondering.
Thanks,
Stacie

Yes, twice in the past.... 3 years. Ummmm.... and it goes for A LOT. Think Felicity's Clothes Press, but even more because it is even rarer.

I think I've seen it three times, the least expensive it sold for was over $400! The most expensive I've seen it sell for is approximately twice that.

It's much rarer than Felicity's clothes press. I've only seen it twice in about 1 1/2 years, once for around 400 and another time for about 700+.

Maybe if we all sent AG really creative, sweet and imploring letters begging:
<font color="#00BFFF">Please, American Girl,</font>
<font color="#0000CD">Bring</font>
<font color="#DA70D6">Back</font>
<font color="#800080">Josefina's</font>
<font color="#FF0000">PIANO!!!</font>
then they would know how much we want the piano back.
Playable mini instruments are super fun. When I was two years old, my parents said I was playing songs on my teeny toy piano so they bought a real size piano. You just never know what inspires children. I think all kids should have access to musical instruments.
I can't believe I turned down my husband's offer to buy Josefina's piano for me when it first came out. That was the only time he ever offered to get something. It was just so expensive that I couldn't say "yes" with good conscience, even with the tax refund. Now I wish I had. I've been looking for a piano for the dolls for a long time. One that has both black and white keys that play and two octaves would be fabulous.
Ok, I'd also be happy with a mini set of drums that can be played.

I remember kicking myself b/c many years ago it was actually a monthly special. This was back before they were shown on the web and you could ask when you made phone orders what the specials were. M mom knew I really wanted it and asked if I would like if for a future present. But even at the sale price it was stil a lot. Over $100 I think. So I felt bad and said no, I could always get it later. Of course it was retired not long after that. But this was before we knew there would be so many retirements and that if things go on sale it might be a heads up.
On the upshot, I was able to find one on ebay for not much more than it originally sold for about a year or two ago. It does have a thin crack on the top that's about an inch long. I know we can't put prices but, maybe I can say that I only spent about $30 more than it originally sold for. The thing that sucks is that it was supposed to come with the music but it somehow got lost when she was packing the piano. I was so irate. I didn't leave feedback at all. At least I got the piano though.
Any how, just watch constantly. I think this one might have been under a weird spelling of Josefina or something. You can get lucky.
